Overview
St. John's Lutheran Church offers the gifts of God for the people of God on the Northwest Side of Chicago utilizing the liturgical settings of Lutheran Service Book. The Lord's Supper is available every Sunday for those who have been catechized in the Christian faith, examined and absolved. Seasonal midweek services utilize the prayer offices of Lutheran Service Book and are followed by an abbreviated Divine Service where the Lord's Supper is offered to those who wish to receive it.
