Overview

St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church & School is an active and devoutly confessional Lutheran congregation with a rich liturgical life. If you are visiting or moving to the Twin Cities, you should definitely look to the northwest suburbs and find us on the border of Maple Grove and Corcoran. We celebrate the Lord's Supper at both services every Sunday. Divine Service settings I, II, and III are used, repeated weekly and only changing seasonally. Setting V is used for Reformation and Trinity Sundays. Vespers, Evening Prayer, and Compline have been used at Advent and Lenten Wednesday night services. Matins is exclusively used for our grade school chapel services on Friday mornings, where our pastors preach and lead the service. Our kantor, Dr. Katie Moss, accompanies our Divine Services with great skill on the wonderfully restored Schantz organ. Having been remodeled and expanded in the early 2000's our sanctuary boasts some of the best acoustics that can be found along with a beautifully traditional aesthetic.
