Overview

The beautiful town of Horseshoe Bend is located smack in the middle of the Ozarks with multiple lakes for your vacationing enjoyment or to live after retirement. Shepherd of the Hills is pleased to serve this community and provide Word and Sacrament ministry. This community, at its inception, even advertised in the Lutheran Witness as a wonderful retirement community. Now it has diversified and thanks to the ability to remote work people are moving to this community to escape the city and raise their families and we invite you to help us in our revitalization of this congregation. This congregation, in 2025, became part of a dual parish with Hope Lutheran in Batesville. Batesville houses a variety of needed essential goods and services thus making Horseshoe Bend a charming community for you to live in.
