Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church

Overview

Redeemer Lutheran is a confessional congregation in Monkton, Ontario. We offer Scriptural, historical, liturgical, Christ-centered services straight from the hymnal using Divine Service setting one. Holy Communion is offered weekly. Our hymns are direct from the Lutheran Service Book and we try to vary our hymnody with respect to the rich historical traditions of the Lutheran Church. Close Communion is observed. Visitors are to be examined by the pastor prior to the service if they desire to commune. Our Pastor endeavors to weekly provide Law and Gospel preaching and is committed to the care of souls based upon sacred, historical, and faithful practices that rely upon the Word of God and the means that God has provided. Service is chanted where possible, including traditional (historic) introits, collects, graduals, communions and offertories.
