Overview
Jesus Christ, the Word made Flesh, our Lord and Savior is the heart and center of who we are and what we do at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. We confess that we are "poor miserable sinners" who are "by nature sinful and unclean" who have sinned against God "by thought, word, and deed." Nevertheless, all praise be to God, we are forgiven sinners for the sake of Jesus Christ. We believe that He lived a perfect life on our behalf and suffered for our sins by shedding his blood and dying on the cross so that we might receive forgiveness, life, and salvation! This wonderful gift of salvation in Jesus Christ is our motivation for all things at Pilgrim. Teaching, Preaching, and Faithfulness to the Word of God and the Sacraments are our priorities, and flowing from these is a constant, burning desire to make disciples of all nations! We believe that the Book of Concord of 1580 is a correct exposition of the Bible.
