Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church

Overview

Immanuel uses the Common Service (page 184 in the LSB) almost exclusively on Sunday morning. We sing Reformation era chorales and strive to make use of the best of Lutheran hymnody. We utilize the music of the Lutheran Church because it clearly confesses the Gospel. Both the Lutheran Service Book (LSB) of 2006 and The Lutheran Hymnal (TLH) of 1941 are found in our pews.Our congregation operates a small, classical Lutheran elementary school and has recently begun to offer a high school program in which we assist parents in training up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Unconstrained by educational theory intended to lead children away from important supernatural realities, we look to the Word of God as the ultimate source of knowledge for every generation.Visit our website to learn more. 1 Corinthians 1:23.
