Overview
Good Shepherd is a Confessional and liturgical congregation. We offer the Lord's Supper to catechized members of congregations in fellowship with the LCMS at every Sunday service. Visitors are encouraged to contact the pastor in advance if they wish to receive the sacrament. We follow orders of Divine Service from the Lutheran Service Book in rotation, including DS1, DS3, DS4, and DS5. The pastor wears full vestments for all services, including chasuble when Holy Communion is received, and both pastor and congregation chant the liturgy where it is called for.Families, including children of all ages, are welcome in our services. Those who have not yet been prepared to receive the Lord's Supper are invited to come to the altar rail to receive a blessing and absolution.
